Evan Godwin, LMT, is a board certified massage therapist licensed by the state of Alabama (#3813). Evan received his Therapeutic Massage certification through Southern Union State Community College in 2011. He currently resides in Valley, AL with his wife and four children. Evan specializes in Craniosacral Therapy. Evan believes in a self-healing approach and will do everything he can to improve a client’s overall ability to heal and unwind. Evan’s preferred massage method is slow deep strokes while occasionally stopping to address painful trigger points. These direct focused strokes release areas of tension to restore optimum function and movement throughout the body.
Tori apprenticed under Megan Robertson in electrology. She resides in Beauregard Alabama with her two children. Tori strives to help build confidence in men and women to make them feel beautiful in their own skin. Her top priorities are client safety, confidentiality, and successful treatments. Since every client is different, she offers a free consultation to determine correct treatment for each individual.
Carolyn received licensure by the state of Alabama as a Licensed Massage Therapist (#6138). She received her certification in Therapeutic Massage through Southern Union State Community College in Opelika, AL. Carolyn believes that the body is constantly trying to maintain or return to a state of health and homeostasis. Massage therapy improves this process. Carolyn practices Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, carefully addressing pain points in the body. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia twenty years ago and has treated it primarily with massage therapy. Seeing the amazing results that massage has given her with both pain management and restored range of motion, she has decided to devote her life to helping others in this way. She has plans to become certified in stretch therapy. Carolyn resides in Auburn, AL, and as a new empty nester, she is looking forward to the next chapter in her life.
Shatequa studied Therapeutic Massage and received her certification from Southern Union State Community College in December 2022. She is licensed by the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy (license # 6190). After the completion of the Massage Program, she decided to obtain an Associate of Science Degree in Health and Wellness, with an expected graduation date of May 2023. Shatequa is a member of American Massage Therapy Association and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
One of Shatequa’s favorite quotes pertaining to massage is: “To touch is to heal”. Her ultimate goal is to bring more awareness to the many benefits of massage. She was drawn to the practice by receiving regular massages while battling postpartum depression. Realizing how beneficial massage was, she knew she wanted to become a massage professional. Shatequa also believes in whole body approach to wellness, meaning when all of the dimensions of wellness are in sync, that’s when we experience an overall increase in healthier well-being. She also feels that stress reduction is an important key to optimal health. She specializes in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage and has an interest in becoming certified in total body stretching, cupping, and lymphatic drainage.
